Cumulus Broadcasting invited contest winners from its nationwide listener contest to a special event at the Hard Rock Café in Puerto Vallarta. On October 25, Cumulus executed AMSP’s popular “Roll For a Million” contest, by providing its listeners with six custom dice. A prize of $1,000,000 would be awarded to anybody who could roll the word “M-E-X-I-C-O”. Michael Johnson, of Warren, OH, rolled the dice, and he and his wife Cynthia became instant millionaires, courtesy of Cumulus. Cumulus had obtained prize coverage for the $1,000,000 prize from AMSP.
